Back End Engineer – Seattle Area, WA, Hybrid
Job Summary
We’re hiring a Back End Engineer (2–5 years experience) to build reliable, scalable services for AI-driven products. This is a Seattle Area, hybrid role with time split between our Seattle office and remote work. You’ll own features end-to-end across APIs, data models, and cloud infrastructure supporting real-time pipelines and partner integrations.
Duties
- Design, build, and maintain secure, scalable REST/gRPC APIs for client apps and partner integrations.
- Model and persist domain data in SQL (and selective NoSQL); tune queries, add indexes, and author migration scripts.
- Implement business logic in Java/Kotlin or Go microservices following SOLID principles.
- Write and maintain unit/integration tests; keep quality bars high.
- Instrument services with OpenTelemetry + structured logging; define SLOs/alerts to hit 99.9%+ availability.
- Collaborate with frontend, product, and data teams to ship customer features every sprint.
- Participate in design/code reviews; share best practices and mentor peers on API and cloud patterns.
- Improve CI/CD pipelines for rapid, safe releases (blue/green or canary where appropriate).
Skills
- Solid grasp of distributed systems fundamentals, API design, and auth standards (OAuth2/OIDC).
- Hands-on with SQL (and familiarity with NoSQL), schema design, and data consistency patterns.
- Comfortable with Docker/Kubernetes; can debug services in cloud environments (GKE preferred).
- Familiar with observability (metrics, logs, traces) and automated testing.
- Clear written and verbal communication; can explain trade-offs to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Qualifications
- 2–5 years professional backend or full-stack experience shipping production code (Java/Kotlin, Go, or similar).
- BS/MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Seattle-area grads encouraged to apply (e.g., University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University)—but not required.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Google Cloud (e.g., Spanner, Pub/Sub, Cloud Run) or equivalent managed services.
- Exposure to event-driven/streaming systems (Kafka, Pub/Sub).
- Familiarity with LLM workflows and vector search.

Sales Manager – Greater Seattle Area, Hybrid
Job Summary
We are seeking a results-driven Sales Manager in a contractual role to drive adoption and growth. This role is ideal for recent graduates or candidates with up to five years of sales or account management experience, including internships or project work. This hybrid role offers hands-on exposure to the full sales cycle with time split between our Seattle office and remote work.
Duties
- Develop and implement sales strategies such as cold calling, email marketing, product demos, and trade conference participation.
- Gather market feedback and analyze customer needs to identify new business opportunities.
- Close deals and expand the customer base.
- Track sales activities, manage accounts, and report performance metrics.
- Foster relationships with existing clients and seek upselling/cross-selling opportunities.
- Collaborate with marketing to align strategies and boost brand visibility.
